My husband and I live in a cozy little two bedroom flat in the South of England. A writer for the past twenty years and a published author for the last eight, My other passion, aside from my husband, is wine. Lucky for me, he’s a wine guru who enjoys expounding on the fruits, terrain, and maceration while I enjoy the effects.

I’ve been many things in my life—daughter, sister, friend, confidant, girlfriend, wife, mother, fighter, loser, winner, grandmother, writer, author, warrior. The list could get rather lengthy, but I’ll stop there. I’m sure your list is lengthy too.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to escape, if just for a little while? to experience a life different from your own—it may be a bit dangerous, or even wildly dangerous. That’s why I’ve read books all my life. To experience a new perspective. To see life through someone else’s eyes. To do things I would probably never do in my own life.

That’s why I write my stories. To offer an escape into another world where you become a different type of warrior with the strength to kick ass and learn that family isn’t always blood.
